A 24-year-old female was found dead Saturday evening at approximately 11:00pm.
She was discovered when Calgary Police Services were called to check on the welfare of a person in the area of Spruce Meadows Trail and 53 Street SW. Upon arrival, members located a deceased 24 year old female outside of a vehicle.
Currently the cause of death is undetermined and an investigation into the circumstances of the incident is underway with the Homicide Unit as the lead. Investigators have interviewed witnesses which included the driver of the vehicle, a 40 year old male. The relationship between the two has yet to be confirmed. There is an autopsy scheduled for tomorrow and hopefully will assist in determining the manner and cause of death.
