Emergency crews are on the scene of a fall at a residence in the city's southwest.
Just prior to 5:00 p.m., EMS was called to a home in the 4500 block of Richardson Rd S.W. where a 3-year-old boy had fallen from a second-storey window.
According to EMS officials, it appears the child pushed through a screen and fell to the ground, a fall of approximately three metres.
The child suffered severe injuries and was transported to the Alberta Children's Hospital in serious, but stable, condition.
