Four Alberta men are facing child pornography charges after an inter-provincial operation was launched targeting online predators.
Operation Snapshot is a multi-agency initiative comprised of members from the Canadian Police Centre for Missing and Exploited Children in Regina and ALERT Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) teams.
Alberta ICE Investigators conducted nine investigations; seven by the southern Alberta ICE Unit and two by the northern Alberta ICE Unit.
A total of eleven charges were laid against four men; three from Calgary and one from Edmonton.
Police say the charges include accessing, possessing, and making available child pornography, as well as luring.
The names of the accused are not being released at this time because the cases are still under investigation.
