ALERT continues to crack down on drug trafficking in the province and last week teams seized over 300 fentanyl pills from two Lethbridge area residences.

Police initiated an investigation after receiving information about suspected drug activity and conducted searches on two north Lethbridge homes on December 14.

The following items were seized during the search:

  • 298 fentanyl pills
  • 70 ecstasy pills
  • 1 gram of methamphetamine
  • 10 grams of marijuana
  • 27 grams of an unknown white powder
  • $5,150 cash proceeds of crime

Curtis Larko, 41, is charged with:  

  • Two counts of possession of a controlled substance
  • Two counts of failure to comply with recognizance
  • Possession of proceeds of crime
  • Two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking

Brandon Boriskewich, 32, is charged with

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking
  • Possession of proceeds of crime

Police say Larko is known to them and was charged in a similar investigation in May 2015.
