RCMP have arrested one man and continue to hunt for the second suspect in connection with a 2006 homicide west of Eckville, Alberta.
On October 24, 2006, Bradley William Webber’s remains were located inside his fifth wheel trailer in a farmyard outside the central Alberta town. According to RCMP, the 46-year-old man had been shot multiple times.
During the incident, an unidentified man suffered a gun shot wound to his leg.
Following an investigating spanning nearly a decade, police have identified two suspects in connection with the death.
On Thursday, police arrested 44-year-old Shayne Earl Gulka of Lacombe, Alberta. Gulka faces charges of:
- First degree murder (in connection with Webber’s death)
- Kidnapping (in connection with an undisclosed abduction)
A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for Kevin Edward Brown, 33, of Calgary, on charges of first degree murder and kidnapping.
Brown is described as:
- A Caucasian male
- 175 cm (5’9”) tall
- Weighing 81 kg (179 lbs)
- Blonde hair
- Brown eyes
- Having moles on his face and a scar on his forehead
- Having a tattoo of a Chinese symbol on the left side of his neck

Anyone who encounters Brown is asked to call 911 and to not approach the wanted man.
