Members of the Blackfalds RCMP have arrested a 29-year-old Sylvan Lake resident who had been wanted for several weeks on attempted murder charges and considered armed and dangerous.
On Tuesday evening, RCMP members surrounded a home in the town of Blackfalds, north of Red Deer, in connection with the search for Andrew Joseph Snow. RCMP believed Snow was inside the home and possibly armed.
Shortly before midnight, Snow was arrested without incident.
RCMP have not disclosed the nature of the incident that prompted the charges against Snow.
In December, a warrant was issued for Snow's arrest in connectiong with attempted murder.
