Members of the Kananaskis Country Public Safety Section confirm the search for a missing wing-suit jumper in the Bow Valley has ended in tragedy.
Search & Rescue crews responded to Grotto Mountain, near Canmore, on Sunday evening following reports of a missing jumper. The body of the wing-suit jumper was recovered from a location on the mountain late Sunday afternoon.
RCMP confirm the victim is a 38-year-old man but have not disclosed his identity.
Canmore RCMP and the Medical Examiner's Office are investigating the incident.
