Calgary police confirm a body was removed from the waters of the Bow River early Friday afternoon.
The body was discovered at roughly 2:00 p.m. at a location approximately 100 metres upstream of the Peace Bridge.
Police have not released information pertaining to the victim’s age, gender or nature of death.
The Medical Examiner has been called to the scene.
