A nine-year-old boy has died in hospital after the off-road vehicle he was riding in crashed on Saturday.
At about 7:50 p.m. on October 7, Picture Butte RCMP responded to the crash in the Iron Springs area.
The passenger of the vehicle, a nine-year-old boy, was not breathing by the time crews got there.
He was taken to hospital in Lethbridge by ground ambulance where he was pronounced dead.
Police say they will not release the identity of the boy because of his young age.
The Lethbridge Collision Analyst is working on the scene as Picture Butte RCMP continues to investigate.
