Canmore RCMP on the hunt for minivan involved in Boxing Day hit and run near Exshaw

An unsolved hit and run collision near the town of Exshaw has officers turning to the public for assistance in identifying the suspect vehicle.
On December 26, 2012, at approximately 2:00 p.m., an SUV traveling westbound on Highway 1A was struck on the passenger side by a minivan exiting the Heart Mountain Store parking lot. The occupants of the SUV suffered minor injuries in the collision.
The driver of the minivan failed to stop and continued eastbound on Highway 1A.
The minivan is described as a late 90’s model, white Ford Windstar. The suspect vehicle would likely have extensive damage to its front bumper and passenger side.
