Calgary Police say charges are pending against a man who was taken to hospital after he crashed his motorcycle in Erin Woods on Thursday night.
At about 9:30 p.m., police say a motorcycle flew past a police cruiser at a high rate of speed, estimated at up to 200 km/h.
Officers called it in, but did not pursue the driver.
A short time later, a call came in from a witness who found the same motorcycle crashed into a tree in Erin Woods.
The man was taken to hospital in non-life-threatening condition.
Charges are pending.
