A mother of a young boy made the horrifying discovery that her child was not alone in the yard of the family's northeast home on Thursday morning.
According to police, at approximately 11:30 a.m., officers responded to a home in the 300 block of 15 Avenue Northeast after the mother encountered a suspicious man talking with her son in the backyard of her home.
After hearing a man’s voice, the woman looked out the window of the home to see the boy and an unidentified man talking. The mother interrupted the conversation, brought the child into the residence, and called police.
Officers were unable to locate the suspect.
The suspect is described as:
- Caucasian
- Approximately 178 cm (5’10”) tall
- Having a heavy build
- Brown hair
- Scruffy grey beard
- Having a deep voice
