According to City of Calgary statistics more buildings, both homes and businesses, are being tagged by graffiti artists.

Martin Onon manages an apartment block in the Beltline for the past five years.  His biggest problem isn’t chasing tenants for late rent, it is graffiti.

He says “it looks very, very ugly”.

Now city police, bylaw services, and the Federation of Calgary communities are getting together to hold workshops on how to manage graffiti, how to erase it quickly, and how to graffiti-proof buildings and property.

A workshop series on managing graffiti is taking place this Thursday.

Thursday, April 3, 2014 – 7 PM to 9 PM

Hillhurst Sunnyside Community Association
