The Children's Wish Foundation held one of its signature events at Shaw Millennium Park on Friday afternoon and challenged teams from corporate Calgary to raise money for the cause.
It is the fifth year for the event and this year, the corporate challenge was a Scottish-themed event.
Clans of ten raised $10,000 each through various fund raising initiatives.
The Clans were paired with a child in the process of having a wish granted and the money raised will be used to fulfill the wish.
The children suffer from a life threatening illness and the goal of the program is to help kids aged three to 17 realize their dream.
The Clans were banished to Exile Island to compete in physical and mental challenges and the group that raised the most money was awarded the William Wallace trophy.
The title of Ultimate Strongman was also on the line and will be awarded to the team that gained the most challenge points.
