A Friday afternoon collision on the Trans-Canada Highway involving a pickup truck pulling a trailer halted eastbound traffic near the town of Bassano.
The crash occurred shortly after 5:00 p.m. It is not known if anyone was injured in the collision or how many vehicles were involved.
By 6:00 p.m. RCMP have reopened one eastbound lane.
An investigation into the collision is underway.
Bassano is located approximately 140 kilometres east of Calgary.
