Airdrie RCMP is looking for a driver involved in a hit and run crash involving a cyclist on Sunday evening.

At about 7:15 p.m. on April 6, police were called to the scene of a crash on Big Springs Drive.

Police say a car driven by a male was westbound on the road when it struck the cyclist.

The driver didn’t stop at the scene, continuing west.

Police and EMS attended the scene and the cyclist was transported to hospital in Calgary with unspecified injuries.

Investigators are looking for the vehicle and the driver. They are described as:

  • A 4-door teal-coloured passenger car
  • An Asian male driver
