September is childhood cancer awareness month and a group of young cancer survivors lathered doughnuts will icy goodness to bring awareness to the disease.
The children became doughnut chefs on Tuesday morning to raise money and awareness for kids cancer care.
Jelly Modern Doughnuts provided the Camp Mud Pie doughnuts and the kids donned aprons to decorate the gooey chocolate covered pastries.
The kids smothered the tasty treats in gummy worms and spiders and of course sampled several of their creations.
The specialty doughnuts will be served up all this month, with 20 percent of sales going to the Kids Cancer Care Foundation.
Staff members at the gourmet doughnut bakery cafe are also donating their tips from this month to the cause.
