Two dogs are still missing after a crash yesterday on Highway Two.  One dog was found Sunday about three kilometres from where the crash happened.

Thirty rescue dogs were headed to Edmonton from LA when the van pulling a trailer carrying the 30 kennels flipped.

Many of the dogs were hurt, four have died, and eight escaped.

Five of the missing dogs were found Saturday, one was found Sunday, but there are still two dogs roaming around.

Volunteers from the Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society or AARCS immediately sprang into action Saturday morning and  started looking for the missing dogs.

Initially the dogs were rushed to a vet clinic in Olds, or those who weren't hurt were taken to Olds College. Since then they have been moved to kennels in Calgary or taken to foster homes in Edmonton.

The dogs were being transported by two volunteers from the pet rescue group, Adopt a Paw Pet Haven based in Saskatoon.

They were on their way to Edmonton for a weekend adoption event at PetSmart.

Those volunteers suffered minor injuries in the crash.
