The Calgary Zoo has four new Komodo dragons, two females and two males.
The four 8-month-old Komodo dragons came to the Calgary Zoo from the Colchester Zoo in the UK.
The four young lizards will live in an exhibit beside Loka, the oldest female Komodo dragon in captivity.
The exhibit is open to the public as of Thursday.
Komodo dragons are native to a group of islands in Indonesia. Mature males grow up to 3.5 metres in length.
They are considered a vulnerable species. There are between 3 to 5 thousand Komodo dragons left in the wild.
