A collision on a race track in Rocky View County, north of Calgary, has sent a driver to hospital.
According to Adam Loria, EMS public education officer, a paramedic crew was called to Century Downs Racetrack and Casino at approximately 2:30 p.m. after reports a driver had been ejected from his sulky and run over by a trailing outfit.
The driver, an adult male of unconfirmed age, was transported by ground ambulance to hospital in non-life threatening condition with a number of soft tissue injuries.
