Drivers who rely on Crowchild Trail to get on and off of Glenmore Trail S.W. may want to consider a different route.
ATCO Gas is starting repair work at Crowchild Trail and 54 Avenue S.W. today at 10 a.m.
The inside lanes which are closest to the barrier going both north and southbound on Crowchild Trail will be closed.
The speed limit on the others lanes will be reduced to 50 km/h.
ATCO also says a second stage of lane closures will be required as the work progresses.
It’s anticipated these ongoing lane closures will have a major impact on traffic.
