The family of a woman who went missing from her southwest Calgary home this past Saturday is desperately pleading the public for help.

Sandra Mykytiuk-Evans, 56, mother of three, was last seen around 6 p.m. on December 29 in southwest Calgary.

They have since come up with nothing in their search.  The family told CTV that they are baffled.  The youngest daughter Laura Evans, who lives with Sandra last saw her Saturday evening, but then left the house overnight.  The next morning when she returned her mother was gone.

Police say the search is still active but they are hoping the public will come up with something that can help rescuers locate the 56-year-old woman.

Unfortunately, the family has no idea what type of clothing she was wearing when she disappeared.

She is described as:

  • Caucasian
  • light brown hair
  • brown eyes

If anyone has information about her whereabouts, they are asked to call police.
