A stubborn warehouse fire is still smouldering in Cochrane, but thanks to Cochrane fire fighters, as well as help from surrounding fire departments, the building is still standing.
Crews responded to the 200-block of second avenue east around 1:00 Sunday afternoon.
The two-storey building is the warehouse for Studio West ltd., a bronze foundry and art gallery.
Officials say there is extensive damage to the rear of the building, but the studio is untouched.
Fire crews remain on the scene Sunday evening to monitor the situation, and the investigation into what caused the fire continues.
