An early morning fire in the city’s northeast damaged a home on Huntwell Pl.
Firefighters responded to a mobile home in the 100 block of Huntwell Pl. N.E. following reports of fire and discovered heavy smoke and visible flames emanating from the home. Crews determined no one was inside the home and launched an aggressive attack on the fire.
The blaze was successfully extinguished before the flames could spread to neighbouring homes.
The origin of the fire has not been determined and investigators continue to search through the debris.
No one was injured in the fire. The estimated financial extent of the damage has not been released.
