Calgary firefighters jumped into action when a blaze broke out at a strip mall in the northeast.

At just before 9 p.m. crews responded to a building in the 2700 block of 3 Ave. N.E.

When they got there, they found intense smoke coming from one unit in the strip mall.

An aggressive attack on the fire managed to contain it to just that one unit and crews were able to put it out quickly.

They say the store was an aquarium leasing company.

No one was injured in the fire and the cause is under investigation.
