Calgary police have arrested and charged four people in connection to drug trafficking after drugs, weapons and cash were found in two vehicles and a southeast home.
On Tuesday, officers executed a search warrant on a home in the 1300 block of 41 St. S.E., a 2005 Cadillac Escalade and a 2004 Chevrolet Impala.
Investigators seized:
- $18,000 in cash
- 24 grams of crack cocaine (estimated street value $2,400)
- Small quantity of marijuana
- Drug paraphernalia
- Bear spray
- A machete
“We believe this was a very active dial-a-dope drug operation,” said District 4 Staff Sgt. Geoff Gawlinski. “Our investigation was a direct result of concerns expressed by the community, and we are pleased we’ve been able to make arrests in this case.”
Four men were arrested inside the home:
- 29-year-old Tang Kuoth
- 26-year-old Malow Diew Long
- 26-year-old Leyley Peter Pal
- 25-year-old David Reat Santino
The four suspects face 18 drug related charges.
