Girl in critical condition after being struck by pickup truck driven by her father

A Thursday afternoon collision in Tuscany between a truck and a pedestrian has sent a young child to the Alberta Children's Hospital. Police confirm the girl's father was behind the wheel.

According to police, the crash occurred shortly before 5:00 p.m. in the 200 block of Tuscany Glen Park Northwest.

EMS transported the girl, believed to be between five and ten years old, to hospital in critical, life threatening condition.
