Calgary police are appealing to the public for help to track down a pair of thieves who smashed their way through a window at Holt Renfrew and made off with a number of designer purses.
Police say two men smashed the north facing window at the store at 510 8 Avenue SW at about 2:00 a.m. last Wednesday and once inside they grabbed a number of Gucci and Louis Vuitton handbags.
Damage to the store is pegged at about $10,000.
Police are asking anyone who may have bought a brand new, authentic Louis Vuitton or Gucci handbag for a considerable discount, to contact them.
