The Lethbridge Regional Police Service is warning the public following the release of a convicted sex offender who is set to reside in the city of Lethbridge.

29-year-old Trevor Phillip Pritchard was released from the St. Albert Penitentiary on Friday after serving a 44 month sentence for sexually assaulting two 13-year-old girls.

Pritchard has been deemed a high risk to reoffend and poses a significant risk to the public.

Conditions of a two year peace bond regulating Pritchard’s release include:

  • A daily curfew from 9:00 p.m until 6:00 a.m.
  • Mandatory treatment sessions
  • Restrictions from public parks, schools or community facilities where girls under the age of 16 may be present
  • Living at an approved residence

Lethbridge police are asking the public to take precautionary measures to avoid confrontations with Pritchard but are warned not to attempt vigilante action against the convicted sex offender.
