Members of the Okotoks RCMP detachment have reopened the northbound lanes Highway 2 following a Sunday morning crash near Dunbow Road.

The crash occurred at approximately 8:30 a.m. on a section of the highway just south of Calgary city limits. EMS, RCMP, and fire crews responded to the scene of a pickup truck that left the highway and rolled multiple times, ejecting both of the vehicle's occupants.

According to EMS spokesperson Stuart Brideaux, the driver and passenger of the truck, two male teenagers, were located on the shoulder of the highway. The teens were transported by ambulance to the Foothills Medical Centre in serious, but stable condition.

The northbound lanes of the highway were closed for several hours but reopened to traffic shortly before 1:00 p.m.

RCMP are investigating the crash.
