An afternoon crash north of Radium has halted traffic in both directions on Highway 93.
The single vehicle motorcycle crash occurred shortly after 1:00 p.m. at a location approximately 10 kilometres outside of the village of Radium Hot Springs, B.C..
RCMP members have closed the highway during their investigation into the crash. The severity of the motorcyclist’s injuries has not been confirmed.
STARS Air Ambulance was dispatched to the scene but the airlift transport request was cancelled.
According to Drive BC, the highway is expected to be reopened by 6:30 p.m. MT.
