Members of the Taber RCMP detachment have arrested one unidentified man in connection to the discovery of a body on a rural property north of the town.
Officers were called to an undisclosed property Tuesday morning following reports of a missing person and a disturbance. On the property, RCMP members located the body of an adult male.
The death has been deemed a homicide.
The identity of the deceased has not been released and an autopsy has been scheduled for Thursday at the Medical Examiner’s Office in Calgary.
One man has been arrested in connection to the death. Police believe the suspect and the victim knew each other and the death was not a random incident.
