Emphasizing the serve in ‘To serve and protect’, members of the Calgary Police Service, RCMP, Alberta’s Sheriffs, and Alberta Correctional Services, will be helping out at all Calgary, Okotoks and Airdrie Cora locations to raise funds for Special Olympics Alberta.
Volunteers from the Law Enforcement Torch Run will be bussing tables, selling t-shirts and stuffed animals, and collecting donations for the province’s Special Olympics movement on Saturday March 9 and Sunday March 10.
Law enforcement personnel will be on hand as part of Cora Cops and Crepes at the following participating Cora locations:
- 5111 Northland Dr. N.W.
- 4600 130 Ave. S.E.
- 255 5 Ave. S.W.
- 2525 36 St. N.E.
- 28 Southridge Dr., Okotoks
- 505 Main St. S., Airdrie
Cora Cops and Crepes is an annual fundraising event. The Special Olympics benefit was previously known as Tip-A-Cop.
