Lethbridge police have released video of three people who may have information in the alleged assault of a 13-year-old boy at a local playground last week.

Jeremy Kemble has Asperger Syndrome and says he was attacked by three youth at about 8:30 p.m. at the playground at Ecole St. Mary School last Tuesday.

Jeremy says the boys started punching and choking him for no reason and that one of them recorded the whole incident on a cellphone.

Police say the boys are believed to have fled the scene on bicycles and were last seen riding southbound on 18 Street South, next to Catholic Central High, about 10 minutes later.

Investigators released surveillance footage from the area that shows the subjects arriving and leaving the scene in the hopes that someone will recognize them and come forward.

The suspects are described as:

Subject 1

  • Caucasian male
  • About 15-17 years-old
  • 178 cm or 5’10” tall
  • 64 Kg or 140 lbs.
  • Dirty blond just above shoulder-length, shaggy hair
  • Was wearing a red/maroon shirt with a white logo on the front, black shorts and white shoes
  • Was riding a mid-sized bicycle with a shopping bag on the right handle bar

Subject 2

  • Caucasian male
  • About 15-17 years-old
  •  175 cm or 5’9” tall
  • 64 KG or 140 lbs.
  • Shorter, light brown hair
  • Was wearing a maroon shirt, blue shorts and mostly white, multi-coloured shoes
  • Was riding a mid-sized bicycle with a shopping bag on the right handle bar.

Subject 3

  • Caucasian male
  • About 12-15 years-old
  • 152 cm or  5’0” tall
  • 41 KG or 90 lbs.
  • Short hair
  • Waring a black t-shirt with a red logo on the front, black shorts with a wide yellow stripe on the sides, grey shoes and a black bike helmet
  • Was riding a small mountain bike
