More than $10,000.00 worth of drugs has been confiscated and five people have been charged after Calgary police took down a southwest drug trafficking den.

After a seven week investigation, officers executed a search warrant in the 1700 block of 28th Street S.W. on February 26, 2015.

Several drugs were found including:

  • 15.5 grams of cocaine
  • 4.2 grams of heroin
  • 24.9 grams of methamphetamine
  • 56 fentanyl pills
  • 18.2 grams of steroids
  • 13.7 grams of marihuana
  • 6.6 grams of hash oil
  • 60 unknown pills

Officers also confiscated drug trafficking tools, firearms and stolen property, including six vehicles which were found near the residence and it's believed all were connected to the address.

One suspect tried getting away from cops and suffered minor injuries after jumping from a second story window.

The following people are facing charges:

  • 35 year old Alan Ray McAbee of Calgary, has been charged with seven counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, three firearms charges and for various other outstanding warrants.
  • 32 year old Maria Angelica Tassone of Calgary, has been charged with seven counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, five firearm charges and one count of possession of stolen property.
  • 43 year old Eric Winston Miller of Morley, has been charged with five counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and for various other outstanding warrants.
  • 32 year old William Leonard Hazelwanter of Calgary, has been charged with three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, one count of possession of stolen property over $5,000 (in relation to a stolen vehicle), and another outstanding warrant.
  • 26 year old Appollonia Lynnorish Stump of Calgary, has been charged with three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
