Brett Wilson and Canadian comedienne Jessica Holmes will play host to one of the year's hottest runway fashion shows, accompanied by a delectable cocktail reception, spectacular live and silent auctions, performances from world-renowned violinist Sophie Serafino and a post-event VIP reception at Raw Bar in Hotel Arts.
Ovarian Cancer Canada (OCC) is the only national charitable organization solely dedicated to overcoming ovarian cancer – the most fatal of all women's cancers that saw 150 Alberta women of a total 180 diagnosed in 2011 succumb to the disease. There is no screening test for ovarian cancer, and the symptoms are varied, vague and easily missed. Unfortunately, the majority of cases are diagnosed in the late stages of the disease and only 30% of these women will survive five years.
