A Saturday evening fight involving as many as 14 people has left two adults suffering from stab wounds.
At 8:30 p.m., officers responded to the 500 block of Abadan Pl. N.E., in the community of Abbeydale, following reports of a brawl involving neighbourhood residents.
Police determined a man and a woman had been stabbed in the melee.
The female victim was no longer at the scene as she had been transported to the Peter Lougheed Centre.
According to police, the female victim arrived at hospital in non-life threatening condition. The condition of the male victim is unknown.
Police continue to investigate the incident. Charges are pending against some of the parties involved in the fight.
