A man in his 50s has died from his injuries after falling several metres from scaffolding at a southwest work site.
Emergency crews were called to a building under construction near 41 Avenue and Stanley Road SW at about 2:20 p.m. Tuesday for reports of an injured worker.
EMS officials say the man was critically injured after he fell about 10 metres.
He was taken to Foothills Hospital where he later died from his injuries.
There is no word yet on what caused the man to fall and Occupational Health and Safety is investigating.
