A man is in serious condition after he was run over by a train in downtown Calgary.
CP Rail says the man was found lying facedown on the railroad ties between the tracks at around 4:30 a.m. Saturday.
He run over by an eastbound train near 9th Avenue and 2nd Street SW.
The crew on board alerted police.
The area where the incident took place is fenced off to the public.
