To celebrate McMan's provincial 40th anniversary, you’re invited for a beautiful evening in support of McMan Calgary & Area with keynote speaker Amanda Lindhout, author of the international bestseller A House in the Sky.

Her memoir recalls her 15 months in captivity in Somalia and her remarkable story of courage and grace in the face of unimaginable circumstances.

Amanda’s message of resiliency in overcoming adversity echo many themes that define McMan’s work to support vulnerable youth and families facing complex social issues, including youth homelessness, mental health challenges, justice involvement and youth sexual exploitation.

In addition to this thought provoking presentation, guests will be treated to a cocktail reception, will have the opportunity to bid on unique silent auction items and will get an intimate look at the history of McMan and the lives of the children, youth and families that have been forever changed because of McMan’s commitment to Making a Difference in our Community.
