Many people in southern Alberta woke up to snow this morning. There was a light dusting of snow in some parts of Calgary.

It’s already melting, but highway cameras along highways in the mountains and foothills, as well as highways around Lethbridge and Fort MacLeod show snow on the ground.

In the Pincher Creek area residents can expect up to four centimetres of snow by noon.

But the snow is short-lived.

The forecast calls for a warming trend over most of southern Alberta.
