Police in Airdrie are looking for the public’s help in identifying and tracking down a number of suspects involved in a burglary at a home in the community north of Calgary.

On April 18, at about 9:40 a.m. a man living in the Buffalo Rub neighbourhood in Airdrie heard three men speaking somewhere inside his home.

He called police when he watched them leave; obtaining enough information about one of the suspects to provide investigators with details enough to create a sketch.

Police that attended the scene found the front door of the home had been broken and several items of electronics along with a 30/30 rifle had been stolen.

The suspect the victim spotted outside his home is described as:

  • Caucasian
  • Slim build
  • 5’9”
  • Shaved head
  • Appeared to be in his 20s
  • Dressed in black

He, along with his accomplices, fled the scene in a white, 1990s model sedan.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact police at 403-945-9724.
