Lethbridge Police say charges are pending in an early morning home invasion.
Police say around 5:15 a.m. Tuesday morning, a male entered a home on the 500 block of 12 Street South and threatened a male and a female who were inside the home.
The man demanded drugs and cash from the pair and at some point during the incident a firearm was discharged.
No one was injured but one of the occupants recognized the male so he ran away.
Officers found him in a home about a block away and arrested him without incident.
Police say all three people know each other and this is not a random incident.
Lethbridge Police and members of the Lethbridge and Area Search and Rescue Association are in the neighbourhood searching for evidence.
There is no risk to the public.
