Members of the Calgary Police Service are investigating an early morning stabbing in the northeast which sent two people to hospital in non-life threatening condition.

At approximately 3:30 a.m., police, fire crews and EMS responded to a convenience store parking lot in the 4700 block of Marlborough Drive N.E. following reports of a stabbing.

According to police, two injured men entered the Mac’s convenience store and asked the employee to call 911. One of the men was suffering from a stab wound to his leg while the other victim had been stabbed in the torso.

EMS transported the two men to hospital in non-life threatening condition.

Police believe the victims knew their attacker but the injured men are not cooperating with the investigation.
