Turner Valley RCMP are investigating a fatal crash near Priddis.
Emergency crews were called to the scene of a single vehicle rollover on 240 street West, just north of Highway 22, around 6 o’clock Saturday evening.
When they arrived they found a woman, believed to be in her mid-20’s, deceased and a man, believed to be in his mid-30’s, pinned inside the vehicle. He was extricated and transported to hospital by ground ambulance in non-life threatening condition. Calgary EMS say he suffered serious soft-tissue wounds and possible internal injuries.
RCMP say early signs indicate the vehicle was southbound when it lost control spinning into the ditch and rolling at least once.
The investigation into what cause the crash continues.
