Calgary police say they have charged one man in relation to a bank robbery in mid-August and are seeking another suspect wanted in another similar incident.

At 10:30 a.m. on August 21, a man entered the Royal Bank in the 3800 block of Bow Trail S.W.

He approached the teller and produced a note which demanded cash.

The suspect then fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.

Following an investigation, police tracked down and arrested Keenan Selahadin Abubaker, 23.

Abubaker has been charged with robbery and will appear in court on September 8.

In another bank robbery, taking place at about 5 p.m. on August 14, a man entered another Royal Bank in the 400 block of 10 Street N.W.

The suspect also approached the teller with a note demanding money. He was given an undisclosed amount at which point he fled the scene.

Police have identified the suspect in the second incident as Kristopher James Aubrey, 24.

They have issued a warrant for his arrest.
