Members of the Red Deer RCMP are asking for public help in identifying a man who allegedly entered a woman’s washroom at a local recreation centre and attempted to photograph a woman with a cell phone.
On the evening of January 14, 2015, a woman in the Collicutt Centre washroom was startled to discover a man’s hand holding a cell phone under the stall door.
The woman confronted the suspect and the man claimed he mistakenly entered the wrong washroom. In an attempt to calm the woman, the suspect provided a false name and phone number.
The victim notified security and RCMP members were deployed to the Collicutt Centre. The suspect fled the premises prior to the arrival of officers.
According to RCMP, the suspect is a Caucasian male, with a short, groomed beard.
