After defeating the Edmonton Eskimos at the West Final on Sunday, the Calgary Stampeders are now heading to Ottawa for the Grey Cup match.

The team boarded the bus at McMahon Stadium on Tuesday morning and they’ll be headed to the airport for their flight to the nation’s capital. They’ll be facing the Argonauts on Sunday.

The Stampeders finished with the league’s best record while the Argonauts finished with an even nine and nine on the year.

This will be the third time in four years that the Stampeders will be appearing at the Grey Cup. They lost last year to the Ottawa Redblacks.

Head coach Dave Dickenson says they’ll have to put the past behind them and focus on Sunday’s game instead.

Meanwhile, preparations are well underway in Ottawa for the week-long festival.
