Surveillance video shows a truck crashing through a loading bay door before its occupants make off with electronics on the night of February 11, 2016.

The Digital Lifestyles store carries a variety of electronic goods. On Thursday night at about 6:40 p.m., surveillance video shows a white pickup truck pulling up to the loading bay door and crashing into it over and over until it buckles. A company vehicle parked inside was also damaged. The store was closed at the time.

Three men in dark clothing with their faces hidden then ran into the store and quickly loaded the pickup truck with flatscreen TVs. The trio then fled.

The owner of the store, Les Bown, called police and learned the pickup truck was stolen.

“I think everybody might be a target right now, it's sort of desperate times in Calgary,” he said. “CPS was telling me it wasn't their first call last night and it wouldn't be the last. I'm hoping to get the video out there, maybe stop this from happening to somebody else.”

Bown says upwards of $20,000 in TVs were stolen. He said in the 10 years they've been in business nothing like this has ever happened.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to call police or Crimestoppers.
