NorAm skier airlifted to Calgary after injured at Lake Louise

A 17-year-old NorAm ski racer has been taken to hospital in Calgary after he was injured on the course at Lake Louise on Tuesday afternoon.
EMS crews attended to the teen at the resort and STARS was dispatched to the area at about 2:25 p.m.
The injured skier was taken to Calgary's Foothills Hospital in critical condition.
Officials at Lake Louise released a brief statement to CTV News and said...
'This is a terrible incident and our all of our wishes and prayers go out to this young athlete.'
Alpine Canada posted a message on its Facebook page saying the athlete was injured during a NorAm Cup competition.
There is word yet on the teen’s identity or where he is from.
